3M™ Scotchlite™ 983 Diamond Grade is most commonly used for contour markings on the sides and at the back of trucks, vehicles and skips. It is up to nine times more reflective than the standard “engineering” grade reflective film, making it ideal for conspicuity markings in the dark. It is suited for straight or slightly curved aluminium and painted surfaces. This series meets the UN/ECE 104 requirements; consequently it has markings every 10 cm, which are visible only from a given angle. Benefit Reduces accidents.
